MEET THE MAKER
Hi, I’m Christina Rene Duncan — a marine scientist, taxonomical photographer, and lifelong ocean advocate.
Born from late-night coral shoots and hands-on fragging, Hexacorralia and Zoanthids by Christina are photographed on my Nikon D850 with a 105 mm macro. Grounded in UF marine-science training and 20 years owning and operating AquariumDepot.com, these references pair scientific rigor with gallery-grade presentation.
Every poster, print, and guide I create is made to be more than a product — it’s a way to connect people to the ocean and to each other. Want to read more? All about Christina

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Use the ⅔ rule so it looks intentional, not tiny.
Measure the furniture or wall span. For art above a sofa or tank, pick a width that’s 60–75% of the length below it. Hang so the center is ~57" from the floor or 8–10" above a sofa back. Panoramas love long walls and hallways; small spaces shine with a single Volume.
WHAT IS IT PRINTED ON?
Museum-grade paper + pigment inks (archival).
We use acid-free, archival paper with pigment inks for crisp micro-detail and long life. Optional UV-safe laminate adds wipe-clean durability for fish rooms and classrooms.
WILL THIS ACTUALLY HELP ME PLACE CORALS?
That’s the point—pattern recognition at a glance.
Each Volume teaches you to see like a taxonomist—corallite spacing, septa, growth form, and texture—plus light/flow rules-of-thumb by family/genus so you place smarter and avoid “guess & bleach.”
WILL THE COLORS MATCH MY SCREEN?
Calibrated to sRGB—minor shifts are normal.
Screens vary. We soft-proof in sRGB for consistent, punchy color, but slight differences vs. your device are normal. Expect prints to look richer and more detailed in person.
DO I NEED A FRAME?
Recommended—UV acrylic or a clean poster frame.
Frames protect detail and color. We like simple black/white frames with UV acrylic. A 1–2" mat gives it gallery presence; poster rails work for a minimal look.
